AGM & Heritage Vancouver's Victorian Christmas Party

Join Heritage Vancouver on Thursday, December 6th for our Annual General Meeting and Victorian Christmas Party.
This year's AGM which begins at 6:30pm will be governed by new bylaws passed at our 2011 AGM. All members in good standing as of 2012 are entitled to vote at the AGM.
After the AGM, we welcome members, friends, supporters, and anyone interested in finding out more about Heritage Vancouver to our Christmas Party from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The evening is an opportunity to celebrate the season with old friends and colleagues at the historic Roedde House Museum, which will be decorated for a Victorian style Christmas.
Come and bring your favourite appetizer or dessert and join in the festivities of the season.
Several local authors will also be in attendance, with their books available for purchase:
Michael Kluckner (Vanishing Vancouver),
Don Luxton (Building the West),
Jak King (Encyclopedia of Commercial Drive), and
Christine Allen (A Year at Killara Farm).

Heritage Vancouver's fabulous evening at the Penthouse Nightclub is back again after last year's fire forced its cancellation. Join owner Danny Filippone for a night of stories, food, drink, and entertainment as he takes you on his famous "behind the scenes" tour of the historic family business. Aaron Chapman, author of the recently released book Liquor, Lust, and the Law: The Story of Vancouver's Legendary Penthouse Nightclub, will join Danny in a presentation which includes never before heard stories from the club's fascinating past.

Heritage Vancouver welcomes Brian Jackson, General Manager, Planning and Development Services for the City of Vancouver for our annual heritage review. This will include heritage priorities over the past year and a preview of the city's heritage priorities for 2013.
