The Granville Island Hotel (East end of Granville Island)
Admission: $25.00; Heritage Vancouver Members $20.00
Join Heritage Vancouver for an evening of creative stimulation at the Granville Island Hotel, located on the eastern tip of Granville Island. This is an opportunity to engage in a dialogue about the future of historic Granville Island while enjoying a few pints of beer and a variety of finger foods. Hotson, Bakker, Boniface & Haden, the architects currently working on the Granville Island Redevelopment Plan, will share their perspective on Granville Island, and how it has changed over the past thirty years from an industrial backwater to a vibrant and essential part of Vancouver’s identity. They will discuss their proposals for maintaining this lively and productive community well into the future. This is an opportunity to express your ideas on the future of this Vancouver heritage landmark.
Following the presentation enjoy a pint of the famous Dockside beer brewed on site and complimentary finger foods provided by the hotel. All varieties of the famous Dockside beer will be available at the reduced price of $2.99 a pint.
The event begins at 6:00pm, with the presentation at 6:30pm and reception to follow.
